How This Started
Beat Lynch began when Michael Augins – serial entrepreneur, Darden MBA, former McKinsey consultant, former President of NASDAQ-listed Sirona Dental – took an honest look at nearly 30 years of investing and realized he was not beating the market.
He had taken investing seriously. He had worked with traditional wealth management. But he came to understand that preservation is not the same thing as outperformance – and that existing systems were not designed to systematically pursue true market-beating performance.
What started as a personal quest to use AI and fresh market data to build a better system became a much bigger mission – when Michael realized that most young adults, even highly educated ones, are never formally trained in investing mastery.
That realization transformed Beat Lynch from a personal project into an institution.
